Exploring Divali Nagar 2024 in Chaguanas, Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹 Foodie Nation

Last night we visited the Divali Nagar 2024 Festival. This event is hosted annually by the National Council of Indian Culture (NCIC) in the days leading up to Divali.

Known as the largest Divali celebration outside of India, this highly anticipated event is deeply rooted in Trinidadian culture and tradition. This year's theme: "Grihastha Ashram Building Families & Homes"

Watch as we visit the many booths where you can shop for traditional Indian clothing, household items, jewellery, toys, and more. Of course, for us, all roads led to the food court area where an eruption of flavour took place. All the favourites like pepper roti, pholourie, doubles, sada and sides, along with barfi, gulab jamun, kurma, and much more can be found in one place to enjoy.
